Sandpiper is homebred and is about 13hh ,4 years old. Lemon Skewbald .Bred out of a welsh type x coloured pony mare, by the wonderful Chaps/Bspa graded stallion - SouthHill Farm Munchkin x Bradmore Tomkin x Sandbourne Ensign.
Sandpiper has only been lighlty backed due to jockeys other work commitments. He is showing willingness to work and please. Showing great promise when loose schooled over fences. Has just started to be ridden over fences showing us just how much potential this boy has especially if he was in the right hands.
Sandpiper was tested HOMOZYGOUS positive for the Tobiano pattern thus passing on the tobiano pattern to his offspring regardless the colour of the mare. Great opportunity for a pony stud wanting to inject ``COLOUR`` into their ponies.
