14hh dark bay 10 year old gelding looking for kind, experienced home as I`m moving on to horses. Been schooled with view to prelim dressage, he is still learning but has a trainable nature and is eager to please. He is light in your hands, working in a natural outline and responds well to voice. He will pop a small course and hunted in previous home. Good to hack alone or in company, and happy to be left alone in the field. Ridden on lead rein by 6yr old, he is kind and gentle with children. He is very good natured and will stand for hours being groomed, washed and fussed etc. Good to catch, box, shoe, clip, traffic.
No vices or health problems. Vaccs and teeth up to date. Lives with mares and geldings and prefers to live out. Used to cattle, pigs, dogs, machinery. Would suit older, experienced child/small adult up to approx 10 1/2 stone or mother/daughter share. I have owned him for 2 years and this is a very sad sale through no fault of his own. Please no dealers or complete novices.
Would consider swap for forward going horse 14.2-15.2 preferably Welsh Sec D or Welsh or Arab X 4-12yrs old. |
