Words cannot describe this unbelievable mare but I will try! Dream is nine years old, approx 15hh and is one of the best traditional mares I have ever seen. She has immense bone and more feather than any other mare I have seen ANYWHERE in the world! She is drowning in it!
Her sire is believed to be `The Lob`. The pictures above were taken today (14 September) and although she looks good, in the flesh she is simply breathtaking. She is really chunky but still has such beauty. Dreams a really rich chestnut with one small splash of white on her under belly on the near side and a much larger one on her off side.
She has been ridden and driven in the past but has spent the last five years being a super Mum producing coloured and blagdon foals. She has run with a coloured traditional all summer and is believed in foal.
Dream is an absolute poppet to handle, she will stand like a rock to be bathed and groomed without being tied either in the yard or an open field. Good with the farrier, to catch and load. NEVER has this girl given me any problems. She happily lives in or out.
This is probably a decision that will be forever regretted but last year it was decided that we would no longer be breeding our own stock and all other mares were sold with the exception of Dream. After much deliberation we have decided it`s time to share the wealth so to speak and to also let her go.
Her new home must be one of love as this girl deserves nothing but the very best. Please no timewasters as this truly is one of the hardest things I`ve ever had to do. Although I sell horses on a regular basis Dream is one so very special it will be a very sad farewell indeed.
