ONE IN A 100 LIFETIMES!!!!! Super safe totally bombproof Schoolmistress!! Pure bred Ardennes Roan Mare. Full up 16.2hh. 10 years old. This mare is called ANGEL and is truly is an Angel is every sense of the word. She is total Christian who will be a confidence giver to the most nervous of novices yet will jump a 3metre course of jumps for fun for the more adventurous of riders. She will hunt, cross country and is very well schooled, yet she can be a Blackpool Donkey if required!! She instinctively knows the rider’s experience and will adapt accordingly
Angel is a very well built lady and can easily carry 20 stone plus with ease. For such a big lass, she is amazingly light-footed. Don’t laugh but she will even excel at dressage She is a true Ardennes with a very docile, loving nature.
Angel would suit any family member from being a Nanny to the Tiny Tots and give Granny and Granddad a lovely leisurely ride. In the meantime, she will take the teenagers to Riding Club and Dad for a pint down to the local in the village!!! Mum as always, can muck out but if she feels like a little hack then Angel’s up for that. If Mum wants to relive her youth in private and pop a few jumps or gallop through the woods then Angel will keep her secret!!
A truly wonderful mare who I could recommend for RDA / Riding School/Trekking Centre lead horse etc. Angel is a true family horse in every sense of the word and could not come any more highly recommended.
The only negative, cosmetically speaking is that she has had her tail docked. This is quite sad but perfectly legal in Europe. (Shame!!)
