Jabask Al Khora (aka Looby Lou), pure Arab mare, has spent most of her life unhandled through a stud going bankrupt. When I first got her she was terrified of people but now you can stroke her neck whilst she eats out of a bucket and she no longer keeps a field distance between her and yourself.
Unfortunately I dont have the time to progress her further and therefore am offering her on free permanent loan (but am prepared to have her back if things dont work out). She can only go to someone who has time and experience and knowledge to humanise her. She is an ideal project for someone who is into natural horsemanship. I am sure it will be a very rewarding exercise. I would like her to stay localish. She is 11 years old and approx 15hh.
I am sure after two weeks keeping her in a stable and handeling her daily you will see a massive improvement. I would like her to go to a home where she has the company of another horse and I will do home checks.
Never lame or ill, she has been regularly wormed since she`s been with me. |
