Socks has been in the same home since he was 4 months old and has been extreemly well handled since this time, much time has been put into this gelding.
He is perfect to catch, bath, tack up, groom, rug (can do this in the field without tying up), stands like a rock for blacksmith, vet and dentist, loads like a dream, happily lives in or out. He is never pushy or bargy and has never kicked or bitten. All jabs, teeth, worming up to date.
Socks was backed and broken as a 3 year old and took it all in his stride, however due to his age he would benefit from more schooling on as can at times be slightly nervous when out hacking so needs an experienced rider in order for him to gain more confidence and finish his education. He is 100% with all traffic including heavy lorries, tractors, quad bikes e.t.c, and will happily pass cows, sheep, horses and lammas! He will hack out in company or alone, with an experienced rider (with a novice/nervous rider he may napp).
He is a stunning looking horse, photos do not do him justice.
Socks has had the time and patience put into him and it shows in his gentle and quiet nature.
I am selling socks on behalf of a friend who is heartbroken to have to sell this much loved horse, thus 5* home required for this special boy. She feels that she does not have enough experience to bring him on for him to reach his full potential.
