| Shannon is a lovely mare, she is quite pretty being liver chestnut. Lives in or out, and is easy to catch, and is good with the farrier, though all our horses are kept barefoot. Whilst she is now 16, she is still a nice forward going but safe ride, and she enjoys jumping, currently ridden in a snaffle, but I have ridden and jumped her in a bitless bridle. She is always happier hacking in company, but will hack alone if needed. We bought her in the summer to ride out with the youngsters we had in for starting, but now we need more space for the `problem` horses we take in for retraining. Shannon would be ideal for a second horse, or as a Mother/Daughter hack. Has no issue with heavy traffic, tractors, lorries, and has seen hounds. |
