Powerful chestnut colt with four white socks.
Iago is a beautiful colt, full of presence and has a super head. He has good flat bone, excellent confirmation and tremendous mover. He has a big future ahead of him in the showring in any sphere.
Iago is bred in the purple with the line Thorneyside The Gaffer, Derwen Telynor, Nebo Black Magic and Pentre Eiddwen Comet.
His dam is a three quarter sister to our stud stallion Gwynfaes Culhwch who won the George Prince of Wales Cup in 2002, the Royal Welsh Section ‘D’ Yeomans Progeny Trophy 2005 and 2009 and topped the sire ratings, winning the Hengwm Trophy in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Although she has not been shown, she has all the qualities we aim to breed here at Gwynfaes and her offspring inherit them.
