Berry is a 15.2hh unraced and unnamed four-year-old filly by Bollin Eric, she is an attractive individual is quick and responsive, with no lumps, bumps or issues, and has the temperament and constitution to suggest she could thrive in a number of different disciplines.
She was recently taken out of pre-training due to the disruptions caused by Covid-19, though she could certainly continue down the racing path. Alternatively, she would suit polo, has already proven her aptitude for hunting, or could school for eventing.
She is out of the Kayf Tara mare Tinotara, who was placed in a point-to-point and also has a yearling filly by Grade-1 producing NH sire Linda`s Lad.
Tinotara hails from a smart jumping family. She is a half-sister to Landenstown Lady, who was the impressive winner of a Clonmel maiden hurdle. Another sibling, the Karinga Bay mare Tinoroyale, has gone on to produce the exciting Willie Mullins trained Lord Royal, who won by a distance on his hurdling debut in January, before finishing second in a Punchestown Grade-3 on his only subsequent appearance.
The next generation of the pedigree features a host of high-class names, such as the Grade-1 placed hurdler Gem Daly, the Grade-2 winning hurdler Rockpoint, the Grade-3 winning French hurdler
Berry is currently turned away out to grass hence her low price, but it doesn`t in anyway reflect her quality. Her dam & half sister are also her to be seen, the whole family are quality.
